The Amaryllis Chamber Ensemble strives to promote the arts through concert presentations. We typically program a variety of styles of music for our concerts. We aim to connect with our audience through our music as well as educate them about the music they are hearing. From standard pieces of the chamber music repertoire to outstanding works by living composers to singable opera arias and lively tangoes, our aim is to engage the audience and perhaps introduce them to something new. Our instrumentation varies depending upon the repertoire chosen for the concert. As a concert presenter, you may choose the instrumentation that suits your needs. Our concerts always use a mixture of woodwinds and strings, from flute and harp duos to trios of flute, viola, harp or flute, violin, cello, to flute quartets (flute, violin, viola, cello).

Educational and Children's Programs

Masterclasses, Sectionals and Clinics (Grades 4-12)

Flute • Violin • Viola • Cello • Harp • Chamber Music

• A group lesson on one instrument with the corresponding member of The Amaryllis Chamber Ensemble.
• Coaching of the your ensemble's flute, violin, viola or cello section on a topic of your choice (e.g., warm ups, proper breathing, sound production, intonation, rhythm, articulation, ensemble playing, tuning, etc.) or to help prepare individual sections of your ensemble for upcoming concerts or competitions.
• Coaching of chamber ensembles and soloists.

Workshops

• Ornamentation for band flutists - an interactive workshop for your flute section (Designed to take place in November or December, but can be adapted to any time during the year.)

Residencies and Mini-Residencies (Grades 6-12)

• Programs designed to meet the individual needs of each institution. Includes concerts, masterclasses and workshops.
